We could not be happier with this Atlas Compressor run-through from our man Corey Congilio out of Nashville, Tennessee. Corey's playing is phenomenal and his knowledge of guitar gear and how to use it is truly impressive. In the demo, Corey not only runs through some Atlas Compressor highlights, he also provides a quick tutorial on the basic functions of compression and some of its best applications. His use of the Atlas' Opto Pedal circuit (based on the Diamond Opto Compressor pedal) for playing super-snappy funk riffs is exceptional, and his cover of Dire Straits' "Sultans of Swing" with the Dan Armstong Orange Squeezer circuit is spot-on.
We absolutely recommend checking out Corey's Youtube Channel. In addition to demoing gear he also has tons of great guitar lessons for players of all levels.
