The Atlas Compressor makes it easy to transform the pedal into a bass guitar specific compression machine. With the push of a button, you can convert all six of Atlas’ onboard factory presets into low-end responsive compression engines, precisely optimized for the complexities of the bass guitar. Out of the box, the Atlas features six different compression types including sounds inspired by classic studio rack gear like the 1176 FET Compressor and the LA2A Optical Compressor. It also has includes compression based on iconic pedals like the Dan Armstrong Orange Squeezer, the Dyna Comp, and the Diamond Optical Compressor. This video contains the thinking behind Atlas' compressor circuits when optimized for bass as well as some fantastic bass playing from our friend Jesse Williams (the bassist for The North Mississippi Allstars).
