If you're anything like us, you look forward to Thursday because of (A.) its close proximity to the weekend and (B.) the inevitable release of another edition of the JHS Vlog. We had the great pleasure of meeting Josh Scott - the brilliant mastermind behind JHS pedals - at Winter NAMM 2019. After getting to know each other and expressing some mutual admiration we agreed to engage in a bit of pedal swapping. We dropped some Source Audio pedals in the mail and in a couple weeks had the good fortune of receiving JHS's Bonsai Pedal (9 Tube Screamers in one box!) as well as the Whitey Tighty and Pulp n' Peel Compressors. All amazing pedals that got snagged up by Source Audio employees practically before we could unpack the shipping box.
And low and behold, a couple of weeks ago the Ventris showed up in JHS's Extraordinary Reverbs Vlog - you gotta love that! In the video Josh finds some really great sounds from some really great pedals, including a look at the Ventris' Offspring engine. The video also includes the Walrus Audio Slo, Old Blood Noise Endeavors Procession Reverb, Seymour Duncan Silver Lake Dynamic Reverb, Cusack Music Resound Reverb, Caroline Guitar Company Meteore Lo-Fi Reverb Pedal, Chase Bliss Audio Dark World Dual Channel Reverb, EarthQuaker Devices Afterneath Otherworldly Reverberation Machine V2, and GFI System Specular Tempus.
