A close-up look at the Ventris Dual Reverb's Outboard Spring reverb engine. The Outboard Spring engine was inspired by the sound of vintage spring reverb tanks like the Fender 6G15. This highly responsive spring reverb, most notably characterized by its intense "spring reverb drip," helped define the sounds of surf rock and spaghetti western guitar in the 1960s.
