We recently had the pleasure of visiting our old friend, Nick Reinhart of the band Tera Melos. You also will recognize Nick as one half (along with the great Juan Alderete) of Pedals&Effects.com - the excellent guitar effects pedal show out of California. We talked with Nick during Tera Melos soundcheck before their show at Sonia in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Nick explains how he uses the Nemesis Delay's Shifter engine to pitch his delay repeats up a 5th during the bridge to their song, "Trash Generator." Adding a single repeat with a 5th pitch interval plays a pretty dramatic role in the character of the riff. We also got to hear out how Nick combines the Nemesis with his Roland GK Pickup and Synthesizer for some waaaay obtuse guitar sounds. Check it out...

While you're here, you should also check out the Official Video for Tera Melos' "Trash Generator" off the album of the same name. If you don't already know, Tera Melos is Nick's killer post punk/progressive rock band. If you dig great and innovative musicianship mixed with mondo guitar effects trickery, you will dig this band.

And you really need to check out the demo video Nick and Juan did for the Nemesis Delay on Pedal&Effects.com. Seriously, these guys know their stuff and theirs are some of the most innovative and interesting pedal demo on the internet. Enjoy
