After trying out the wireless Hot Hand Wah Filter only one time, Brock Butler added the unit into his custom pedalboard. Check him out right here playing with the Hot Hand live.
I like how he plays with different rhythms - and having used a floor-bases wah pedal for years, I know how hard it is to superimpose all those various rhythms by usiung your foot. Can you say foot cramp????????
As I have mentioned here before, the "Jam Band" scene in one of the healthiest and vibrant of all the current musical genres - and fortunately for a number of great bands (and us!) such as Umphreys McGee, Soulive, Galactic and now Perpetual Groove, out unique effects units are helping these great players create their best music.
These bands are "taking the torch" from the great bands of the sixties, and keeping the spirit of creative music alive. And, the fact that these bands have become so popular is a testament to the honesty and vibrancy of their music.
