Eddie Van Halen - new pictures

One of my favorite uses of the Flanger has always been the intro to "Unchained" by Van Halen.

Such a great, infectious, chunky riff - it's impossible NOT to try to play that on guitar.

Unfortunately, there's been a lot of bad news of late concerning Eddie VH - the cancelling of the reunion tour, the replacement of Michael Anthony, Eddie's inabliity to get along with just about anyone, etc....................................all of this negativity makes the current look of Eddie very, very encouraging: http://www.thegearpage.net/board/showthread.php?t=243921

These pictures, especially the one of "before and after rehab" gives us hope that one of the most influential guitarists ever has emerged from a very dark place.

Let's hope he makes a full return to being a positive and productive force in the world. Now that would be really encouraging to me - and I think to all guitarists as well!
