When I last walked through the groovily painted front door of Mr. Music, one of our reliable Boston area dealers, I had a box under my arm full of pedals to refill their stock of Soundblox Pro Multiwave Bass Distortions and a few others. Tom, the store owner, was delighted to tell me that they had just sold their last Multiwave to none other than Tom Hamilton of Aerosmith who apparently was passing through the neighborhood in Allston Village.
"Tom Hamilton comes in here to shop quite a bit" says Tom of Mr. Music. "We also had another guy come in this week who saw the Soundblox pedals in the case and was so excited to see them. He said he couldn't find them anywhere! Then he goes on talking about how Mr. Music has the best effects selection in the city."
There you have it ladies and gentlemen, Tom Hamilton shops for his own pedals, hits the cool boutique stores and is now playing the Soundblox Pro Multiwave Bass Distortion!
So, whether or not you are Tom Hamilton, the best way to get our pedals in a store near you is to walk up to the counter and ask. We get a number of calls each week here at Source Audio from people asking how they can get our pedals into stores near them and our answer is always to go into your local shop and ask.
We're working every day to get these pedals in every instrument shop around the country but ultimately, it's the customer requests the make it happen. So if you've been waiting for the Tri-Mod Wah or the Classic Distortion Pro to appear in the glass case of the shop your hanging in, the best way to make that happen is to do what Tom Hamilton did and walk up to the counter and ask.
