Source Audio: On The Road With John Mayer

John Mayer

All of us at Source Audio were very excited to learn that our pedals will be traveling with Mr. John Mayer this summer on his The Search For Everything Tour. It's true, John rocks the Source Audio Programmable EQ and his backing guitarist/vocalist, David Ryan Harris, plugs into the Nemesis Delay. We learned all of this after some significant social media surfing. Below are a few choice Instagram posts, one from our old friend Bob Bradshaw, and a couple from David and John themselves...

Above is a post directly from the man. It's tough to see (yeah, there are A LOT of pedals at John's feet), but the Programmable EQ is on the bottom left corner of the left board.

Here is a closer look. This one came from a Facebook post by our old friend, Bob Bradshaw. Bob is kind of the tops when it comes to designing pro guitar rigs. He has also built rigs for David Gilmour, Eddie Van Halen, and The Edge - you can't really beat that, right? The Programmable EQ is on the bottom left corner of the front board.

And of course there is our man, David Ryan Harris who recently added the Nemesis Delay to his pedalboard. David is lending his amazing guitar and vocal talents to the JM project this summer, but he is also an amazing solo artist. We highly recommend checking out his 2015 record, Lightyears - it's a funk/R&B explosion, a perfect blend of modern soul and 70s aesthetics. We also can't wait to hear his soon-to-be-released record, Songs For Other People - scheduled for release on June 23, 2017.

Check out this tune, "Shelter" from David Ryan Harris's 2015 release, Lightyears - beautiful music.

And here is an excellent John Mayer performance of "Still Feel Like Your Man" from Jimmy Kimmel Live.
