Premier Guitar Gives the Soundblox Pro Classic Distortion a Five-Star Review.

Wednesday, May 19, 2010

The mailman brought some good news to our doorstep via the June, 2010 issue of Premier Guitar magazine. The guys at PG gave the Soundblox Pro Classic Distortion a five star review (actually, guitar picks are their unit of measure, but you get the point). Here’s what they said: “With every guitar, pickup, or amp I used, the distortion was rich, thick, and clear on each setting. Everything from a milder overdrive to aggressive tube-style distortion can be found in this pedal. I could play with a bluesy rock tone and instantly switch to a high-gain metal tone.” That comment pretty much nails the long and short of what makes the Classic Pro such a high voltage pedal—it’s got an enormous tonal range and each distortion type sounds amazing. You definitely need to read the article yourself on the Premier Guitar website. The online version also includes some killer sounding audio clips of the pedal in action, so check it out.

The pedal has only been available to the public for a few months, but the reviews from a very diverse crowd of guitarists continue to roll in. Adrian Belew called the Soundblox Pro Classic and Multiwave Distortions the “best distortion boxes ever made.” Herman Li of DragonForce plugged in the Classic Pro and raved, “this is one of (if not) the best distortion pedal I have ever played.”

We recently finished this demo video for Soundblox Pro Classic Distortion. It will give you an idea of the pedal's power and the how many different tones you can pull from it.
