NAMM 2009 - More Reasons to Never Miss Another NAMM Show!

I was reading this Blog on Music Radar - and I agree with the original blogger's reasons to never miss another Namm show - but I think there are also a few more that we have to keep in mind.
Of course, there is TONS of gear to see and hear - and no you can't do that all in one day - unless you want to be running from booth to booth like Ricky Hernandez stealing bases. You WILL need at least two days - and make it an extra one to give yourself some breathing room and a chance to sit back, relax and to take in the unexpected - which most assuredly WILL happen.
The next main reason is the sheer inspiration of seeing so many people just as obsessed as we are with great gear - and to hear the best of the bunch actually make some music with the new and exciting gear. I can't tell you how many great players I heard - some that I recognized (Paul Gilbert, Scott Henderson, Victor Wooten), and some who were unreal players and I had no idea who they were. Who knows - maybe that will be one of us at next year's NAMM. I know that I'll be there!
