Guitar Player Online review of Hot hand

It sure seems that the staff at Guitar Player Magazine understood what the Hot Hand Phaser/Flanger is all about: http://www.guitarplayer.com/story.asp?sectioncode=6&storycode=18927They take their time with equipment, and put in real effort to find the inherent strenghts and weakness (if there are any weaknesses).
When I review guitars for Robb Report magazine - it's a different attitude than magazines like Guitar Player, which can have "shootouts" where different pieces of gear go against each other. At Robb, it is not a critical magazine - it's more of an invitation to look into a product - there is no real criticism, as items that deserve any harshness don't get beyond me. Guitar players love comparisons, and GP is great for that.
Anyhow, back to Hot Hand - my new favorite use of the Wah Filter? with electric bass. I love the way to coats each note with a vocal quality, especially when set to the "flail" and played with the fingers.
