Guitar Player Magazine Awards the Soundblox 2 Stingray Multi-Filter with the Editors’ Pick
Tuesday, April 07, 2015
We at Source Audio are enormously honored to receive Guitar Player Magazine's coveted "Editors' Pick" award for the Soundblox 2 Stingray Multi-Filter. Years of meticulous testing and tireless design went into creating this powerful filter pedal, so it's extremely gratifying to see our hard work truly appreciated by knowledgable musicians.
Matt Blackett, GP's Associate Editor, had this to say: "Anyone who has tried a Source Audio effect knows two things: the pedals sound amazing and they pack more sounds and features into a neat little box than should be humanly possible. So it will come as a shock to exactly no one that the Stingray Multi-Filter has a zillion tones that all sound great." He goes on to say that, "The coolest thing about Source Audio is that their stuff sounds awesome no matter where you set the controls. If you want to go deep, they will go there with you. But if you just want to plug in and play, you can do that with spectacular results."
When we designed the Stingray, the goal was to create a filter pedal that provided superior tone and spanned the gamut of filter modulation effects. The Stingray will give you everything from funky "auto-wah" effects, to chewy modulation effects, to choppy square wave effects, to buzzing 70s synthesizer growls.
