Accessing the Recall Function in the Soundblox Pro Pedals

One question people ask about the user presets feature on our Soundblox Pro pedals involves knob positioning. Let’s assume we ’ve programmed a user preset, but the knob positions have since been altered. When we engage that preset, it’s easy to see the EQ settings and the selected effect type, but it is not clear where the knobs were positioned. Is there a wa y to recall dial positions? Yes, the solution is in the recall function. Here is how it works—you must first turn the pedal off and make sure the Preset Bank selector button is set to the proper bank. Hold down the footswitch of the preset you wish to recall—the preset knob positions are indicated within the equalizer’s LEDs.

The above photo illustrates which knob is associated with which frequency band. They correspond as follows: Sustain = 125Hz, Drive = 500Hz, Mix = 2k, Output = 8k. For clarity’s sake the knob positions in the photo correspond with the LED position of the EQ. We see, for example, that the Sustain knob is turned all the way to the right, which translates to LED illumination at +12dB on the 125Hz frequency band. A knob turned all the way to the left translates to LED illumination at -12dB, a knob set to 12 o’clock translates to LED illumination at 0dB and so forth and so on. Release the footswitch and the EQ snaps back to the preset’s programmed equalization.
We hope this description of the recall function is helpful. Please continue to email us any questions regarding the functionality our pedals, we are happy to help any way possible.
