Attention technology loving musicians, we’ve lowered the price on our award winning Motion Controlled Phaser/Flanger pedal. While supplies last, the prices on both the Wireless and Wired packages have been reduced by $100. Click here to see which retailers offer the reduced price.
The Source Audio Phaser/Flanger pedal is quickly becoming a classic. Along with the original Motion Controlled Wah Filters, the Phaser/Flanger introduced the world to the Hot Hand Motion Controller Ring. This groundbreaking device allows users to control the effect’s oscillation with a simple wave of the hand. Just attach the ring to your hand, foot, head, or head-stock and get to work. And, of course, the pedal offers an expansive collection of fantastic flanger and phaser sounds. Herman Li of the band DragonForce dug the pedal so much that he put Hot Hand on the cover of their recently released live album, Twilight Dementia. The Phaser/Flanger was also spotted on Billy Corgan’s pedal board during the Smashing Pumpkins’ Zeitgeist tour (read the blog on this subject).
Check out the pedal's demo video.
This incredibly versatile stompbox offers 7 individual and diverse sounding flanger and phaser effects. Of course the effects work with Hot Hand, but also run in a multitude of other ways. The pedal works independently as either an LFO or Envelope Follower. Or use the expression pedal input and access another set of possibilities. In LFO mode your expression pedal increases the oscillation speed as you move to the toe down position—replicate the sound of a Leslie speaker as it alternates speeds. Set the Phaser/Flanger to Hot Hand mode and control the movement of the LFO manually with the expression pedal, finally you can flange or phase right in time with tune you’re playing. There’s also the very cool sounding Sequencer mode that opens up a new world of techno/electronica possibilities.
Obviously a pedal with so many effect options needs a place to store customized sounds, correct? Well the Phaser/Flanger has that with four user presets that allow you to save your settings for quick recall in live situations.
